Crazy Crafter's May Blog Hop Framelits

Hi all and welcome to the Crazy Crafter's Blog Hop.  If you are following the blog hop you would have just come from the lovely Sarah Rae Oakes at Stampin' Up! with Sarah.

This month our theme is to make a card using Stampin' Up! Framelits.  Stampin' Up! have an awesome range of framelits so it was hard to choose which particular set I wanted to use.  I finally chose the Starburst Framelits which are in the Occasions Catalogue as I had not had a chance to use them before.

The World Map stamp came out last year in the Annual Catalogue and it was on my list of products to get but I only ended up getting it last month.  It takes me a while to get around to things.
I used an Aqua Painter to colour the map, then stamped a little portion of the map on another piece of Very Vanilla card stock and coloured it the same then die cut the 2nd and 3rd smallest Starburst Framelits and mounted them with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment twice then cut cut out the 'world' banner and used a thin strip of Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere it.
I must say it took ages to colour the World Map but it was worth it.  I then adhered it to Soft Sky card stock and then a Tempting Turquoise card base.
I hope you are enjoying our blog hop, your next stop on our blog hop is the gorgeous Petra Tailor at Tailored Craftiness.
