This fortnight's Sunny Challenge is to create something using Stampin' Up! Framelits and as they have a great variety it was very easy to make.
I decided to do something completely different than I have before and this is what I came up with. I used a piece of the new Textured Cardstock in Old Olive and cut it to 5"x12" scored @ 3" and 9". Then I covered the front of the card in the Old Olive and Very Vanilla striped paper from the Etcetera Designer Series Paper then I opened up the card and found the middle and taped the die from the Labels Collection Framelits with the sharp side up so that it cut the front of the cardstock not the base and ran it through the Big Shot and Voila the front of the card is shaped! I used the Apothecary Art stamp set and stamped it in Night of Navy and then coloured with Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Baked Brown Sugar. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Baked Brown Sugar and cut out by hand and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I used our Secret Garden stamp set and Secret Garden Framelits and cut out 10 flowers in Calypso Coral and Pool Party and 2 leaves in Baked Brown Sugar and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. I thought it needed a bit of jazzing up so I put some Pearl Basic Jewels in the centre of the flowers and around the sentiment. This is the inside of the card which has plenty of space to write on.
